For the past 11 years, people have enjoyed sampling our selection of over 200 beers but there have a been quite a few requests for a simple addition - wine. This year your requests have been heard! In addition to micro and home brew beers there will be wine to sample, food from Bloomington-Normal vendors, local bands to listen to and a bags tournament. Are you interested in volunteering at our Beer Festival? We need volunteers to help pour beer in shifts of 2 1/2 hours each night. In return for your time you receive free entry, a tasting glass, our eternal gratitude, and you are helping out our community! There is a short orientation prior to each shift. 2010 Jaycee & Uptown Normal Book Drive Planned

The Bloomington-Normal Jaycees, along with the Uptown Normal Business Association (UNBA), are sponsoring their third annual book drive to collect books benefiting Book Showers for Literacy of McLean County (BSLMC) and the YWCA’s Book Buddies program. Drop off locations include: The Alamo II, Babbitt’s Books, Children’s Discovery Museum, The Garlic Press, and Normal Public Library.
