Christmas is just around the corner and it is about time to usher Santa into town for all the boys and girls to see. The Jaycees have been organizing and participating in our Christmas parade for 85 years and enjoy this labor of Love. The Jaycees love to usher in the holiday season with Santa sitting atop one of the local Bloomington or Normal firetrucks. The parade occurs yearly on the first Saturday in December, with lineup starting at 9am and kickoff at 10am.
The yearly parade theme changes and is set by the Jaycees Parade committee. The cost to participate is $10 until the week of the parade when the cost rises to $15. The parade will be judged and a first and second place cash prize will be awarded. Use some creativity, show us your passion, and help bring some Christmas cheer to Bloomington -Normal!
